IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

While the facility focused on protecting the residents and staff from COVID-19 during the height of the pandemic, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) acknowledges the adverse impacts of restrictions on visitation, physical contact, and group activities upon residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Due to these factors and the progression of COVID-19 vaccination in California, the facility with the guidance of CDPH revised the visitation guidance to expand opportunities for social interaction and improved quality of life. Currently, the facility is offering scheduled visitations with certain limitations per CDPH guidance except for certain compassionate care situations, such as an end-of-life situation. The facility is continuously offering phone and/or virtual communication such as FaceTime, Zoom, or Skype.
Due to the progress with COVID-19 vaccination of residents and healthcare personnel (HCP), CDPH recommends a cautious and gradual lifting of certain restrictions, while remaining vigilant for breakthrough infections and transmission in the facility through ongoing surveillance and testing.

We are committed to providing regular updates regarding the number of residents or staff who have tested positive for COVID-19. Please see the results of testing here.

Providing safety and maintaining the highest well-being of our residents and staff remains our utmost priority. Rest assured, we are following all the guidance set forth by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Thank you very much for everything you are doing to keep our residents and facility staff safe and healthy. Given the fluidity of the situation and new recommendations from health departments, the facility guidelines are subject to change. We will keep you informed about any new precautions we think necessary to keep your loved one safe. We also encourage you to call the facility to learn more about the current protocols that we are implementing for your loved ones and for our staff. We are thrilled and looking forward to see you again, and for you to be reunited with your loved ones.
